Short biography
Uma Karuna Thurman is born in Boston, Massachusetts. She is an American actress, screenwriter, producer and former model.
She is best known for her roles in films written and directed by Quentin Tarantino: Pulp Fiction (1994) and the diptych Kill Bill: Volume 1 / Volume 2 (2003-2004).
She appeared for the first time on screen in 1987, with a first role, that of a femme fatale in the independent thriller Kiss Daddy Goodnight. She continued with the comedy Johnny Be Good, where she rubs shoulders with the young Robert Downey Jr.
