Short biography
Monica Bellucci is born 1964 in Città di Castello (Umbria, Italy). She is an Italian actress and model.
In 1995, she got famous with the film L’Appartement by Gilles Mimouni, and she earned a « Cesar nomination » in the best female hopeful category.
After a few high-profile French productions – Dobermann, Le Pacte des loups, Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, Irreversible – she had a Hollywood career with the Matrix saga or the independent historical drama The Passion of the Christ, written and directed by Mel Gibson.
In 2015, after more confidential European projects, she became James Bond girl at 50 years, for the film 007 Spectre.
